My name is Daniel D'Agostino (also known as Gigi)
and this is my personal website (formerly called Daniel D'Agostino on the
web). The name "Gigi's Gym" is an inside joke, as is the phrase
"for better preformance" (yes, I do know how to spell it), and the
Null Neuron domain.
I am 22 years old and have always lived in Malta. I am a BSc IT (Hons) graduate as of December 2009, and currently work as a software developer.
I was not always a computer geek. I have always been very keen on natural languages, and until Form 4 I was intent on continuing my studies in the field of languages. That was when I made the sudden shift from languages to sciences, because it made more sense to pursue a career in IT. I am still fond of languages, and even became a Teacher of English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) when I was 18, a year before I started working in IT.
My internet presence began in 2002 when I joined the Ultima Dragons Internet Chapter and created my first website (Dino's Ultima Page). Since then I have created several others, both for myself and for others.
I am currently a member of the Malta Student Ramblers, the Ramblers' Association of Malta, the Malta Red Cross - First Malta Branch and the Ultima Dragons Internet Chapter. I used to be a member of the Malta Association of Teachers of English as a Foreign Language and the Malta Chess Federation.
