Basic Virtual Deposits System


The Basic Virtual Deposits System (BVDS) is an application that hotels can use to manage deposits taken from guests for the use of particular items. For example, a guest might have to pay a deposit of 5 Euros in order to use a pool towel, and will be refunded the same amount when returning it.

BVDS is a Java application using a MySQL back-end. As such, it should run quite comfortably on any major operating system. BVDS may be set up on any number of client machines, who will communicate with the database on the server.
