James Vernon
is the mind behind the films, and the man behind the camera. He
is the one who plans the films, sets up the shots, tells the actors what to do,
films them, and finally edits it into what you all see. Although he doesn't
appear in any of the films (obviously because he's the cameraman), none of
the films would be possible without him. James, 18 years old, wishes to go
into either filming or architecture.
Adam Vella
is the other mind behind the films, and the man in front of the camera.
He plans the films out as well and co-directs them. Since he doesn't operate the
camera, he also has the benefit of starring in the films. In The Maltese Job
he stars as the main actor Jack, a bank robber, seeking revenge after he is
double-crossed. In the next film he plays a lead role as Sean, the leader of a
group of professional thieves who plan to steal a priceless painting. Adam is 18
and is currently studying for a BSc IT at the University of Malta. He hopes to
go into something to do with filming in the future.
Daniel D'Agostino
joined The Group in time for the second film, in which he plays the
part of Mr. White, a renowned hacker who is forced by a criminal organisation
to breach the security system where a valuable painting is kept since the gang's
very own hacker lacks Mr. White's abilities. His role in the second film is
inspired by his real interest in computers. In fact, Daniel created this whole
website (including the forum) and is currently studying for a BSc IT at the
University of Malta. Aside from acting, his involvement with The Group
comprises maintaining The Group's website and occasionally taking
behind-the-scene pictures.
Charlotte Vella Truepenny (born 7th September 1987, 18 years old)
speaks about herself:
This is the first film in which I play lead actress. I play the character "Sydney". It's my first time working with this film crew. I love every minute of it, as not only are they crew members, but to me they are some of my closest friends. When I am not filming I am normally hanging out with my mates or horse riding. Most probably, I shall soon be going to England to further my future. Therefore this current film that we are working on shall act as a great reminder of my friends and the times we shared. I love you all, and shall miss everyone greatly!

Neil Camilleri
(who starred in The Maltese Job as Kane) is 18 years old and currently
studying computer science and philosophy with hopes of becoming a systems analyst.
Neil also has a lead role in the 2nd film in which he plays the part of Jake,
an ex-thief who dropped out of the life of crime for personal reasons but is
asked to join a new group by an old friend (Sydney, played by Charlotte Vella).
Some of his interests include Computer programming, Philosophy and Music
(guitar/piano).
Natasha Coppini is 16 years old and currently studying Art and
English at A-level. She has been a ballet dancer since the age of 3 and also
enjoys jazz dance and horse-riding. Natasha hopes to take up dance as a career in
the future. She was one of the main characters in The Maltese Job and, in the
upcoming film, plays Jade, an assassin who together with her 2 sisters helps
steal a priceless painting.
Francesca Falzon is 16 years old and currently attending
her first year at Junior College studying Maths and Phyiscs. She starred in
The Maltese Job as Francesca, a thief married to a millionaire. She's been
dancing ballet since she was 3 years old and hopes to take up dance
professionally in the future. In the next film Francesca will be acting as an
undercover assassin who together with a professional group of thieves, steal a
priceless painting.
Ian Formosa is 18, and is currently studying for a B.Com at the
University of Malta in the hopes of becoming an accountant. In The Maltese
Job he was the stuntman and comedian, and played the role of Luciano.
In the second film he is a millionaire crime boss who owns the painting that is
being targeted by the criminal organisation that wants to steal it.
Chris Busuttil is 18 years old, and has been with The Group since the
beginning. In the first film he starred as Kirk, the mad swordsman. His role in the
film derives from his real fencing abilities. In the second film, he is a member of
the gang who is supposed to steal the painting. Chris is currently studing Maths
and Physics A-level in the hope of becoming a famous engineer.
Ann De Gaetano is 17 years old and currently at St. Aloysius
second year doing Biology and Chemistry A-level, in the hope of becoming a
doctor one day. In the second film she plays the part of the wife of
a millionaire crime boss. She enjoys spending hours playing her guitar
and jamming with her band. Her other hobbies include painting, acting and
dancing.
Ivan Philippov (born 23rd November 1987) speaks for himself:
I'm a Russian born who grew up in Malta. I played the role of Vlad, a mob boss millionaire in the first film and provided the film with its main filming location (the villa) but was unable to participate in the second one due to my studies. I'm now reading Economics at the London School of Economics (what a surprise). My hobbies include rowing and kickboxing.
