The Savage Empire Alt Code List 22nd September 2006 by Daniel D'Agostino Info ---- * The Alt codes are actually just ASCII characters. * When you press a combination of Alt and 3 keypad numbers, it's like pressing a key with a specific ASCII value. * For example, pressing Alt+065 (which corresponds to 'A') and pressing the 'A' key have the same effect in the game. * Therefore the Alt codes simply consist of all the possible game commands. * Some are accessible normally via the keyboard, while others are exclusive to Alt combinations and others have been disabled and must be enabled with MDHack. * The ASCII character set consists of 256 characters (0-255). * Therefore, if you enter a number greater than 256, the code set starts over from 0. * For example, Alt+261 and Alt+005 (261 - 256 = 5) have the same effect. * The codes after 200 are debugging tools and are disabled in the game; they can only be enabled with MDHack. * Some commands can be accessed by more than one Alt code (e.g. Alt+065 ('A') and Alt+097 ('a') are both used to attack). * The Ctrl and Shift keys affect the ASCII code of a specific key.
