Information about Aljabo

This is just some information about Aljabo, taken from anywhere. It is here just for reference.

From Blackthorn forums:

From "The Solari people" thread:

The Assistant Shaman, he tries to imitate his master but is obvious that he is very afraid and knows his master can any day offer him for human sacrifice. He looks forward to the day that he can become head shaman but dare not express his desire. In his masters absence he does his best to imitate him but people don’t take him seriously. He is thin, young and nervous. He wears human bones as decorative ornaments around his neck, does not have a hat. Pro Guardain

Notes

These are notes on the format of the dialogue, read carefully to be able to understand the dialogue.

Each dialogue piece, which includes speech for Blackthorn and the NPC, is labelled with a keyword. Most of these keywords come from keywords chosen from previous dialogue pieces. When Blackthorn chooses a keyword as a dialogue option, he will say a full sentence, which you will see where the keyword links to. The destination keywords are not to feature in the game.

The dialogues said by Blackthorn and the NPC are marked with their name, though that won't feature in the game.

Another thing of note is that dialogue pieces borrow some dialogue options from previous dialogue pieces. I have listed all the possible dialogue options for each dialogue piece, and I have marked new dialogue options with an asterisk (*). Those dialogue options marked with an asterisk start off in the dialogue piece in which they are marked. Dialogue options that were already selected should be omitted when implementing the dialogue into the toolset. You should not be able to choose dialogue options you've already chosen before.

An action apart from the dialogue, such as ending a conversation or giving an item, is marked in red.

Opening Dialogue

opening1 (Opening at the beginning of the game, when Blackthorn wakes up to meet Aljabo)
You open your eyes to see a bald young man with hollow eyes. Your awakening gives him a fright and makes him jump at first, but then he settles. The first thing to meet your sight is a bone necklace around the man's neck.
Blackthorn: "Uh..."
Aljabo: "Ah, B-Blackthorn, I am g-glad to see that y-you are awake! I got quite a f-fright at f-first, though you must not worry, I am a very n-nervous f-fellow." His last phrase is evident from his constant stammering.
Blackthorn: "But what..."
Aljabo: "Y-You were s-seriously injured, B-Blackthorn. You are most f-fortunate that Ulia b-brought y-you here on time.

opening2 (Opening of dialogues after the first time)
A pair of familiar, hollow eyes meet your own, as does Aljabo's bone necklace.
Blackthorn: "Hello Aljabo."
Aljabo: "Welcome b-back, B-Blackthorn. It is g-good f-for a healer to s-see one of his f-former patients again."

Blackthorn: "May I know your name?"

Blackthorn: "Indeed."

Blackthorn: "What do you do here?"
Aljabo: "I am the assistant sh-shaman of the Solari tribe." He looks rather proud to be at such a high position.
Blackthorn: "Shaman?"
Aljabo: He nods and folds his arms to explain. "Our tribe, the Solari tribe, is led by its Shaman." This would imply that Aljabo is second in command, and that is exactly what he wants to say next, though he can not find the right words to say it properly and not boast too much at the same time, so he stammers continuously, incapable if finding the right words. "I... Since... B... Let me tell y-you... oh, n-never mind!"
Blackthorn: "What about the Solari tribe?"
Aljabo: "Well, the S-Solari tribe is the place y-you are in right n-now. I am n-not the right person to g-go into detail about that. Besides, Ulia wants to s-see y-you."

Blackthorn: "What a necklace!"
Aljabo: Aljabo now wears a smile that extends nearly all the way across his face, and his stammering seems to decrease. "Thank y-you! This is just a decorative ornament made of human b-bones given to me by the Shaman himself.
Blackthorn: "Human bones?"
Aljabo: "Of course, it is very n-nice. It is made entirely of f-finger bones with a f-few teeth here and there." He lifts the necklace slightly for you to see, and then lays it back to rest. The bones do appear to be human, and a feeling of macabre creeps over you. "It is a tradition for the shamans to wear ornaments."

Blackthorn: "Why are you so nervous?"
Aljabo: The young man seems to get even more nervous at your question. "N-n-nothing, i-it's just me." He looks shaky and looks away while talking to you. "W-Well, I think I w-was b-born like this. I m-must have inherited it from my p-poor mother. She was j-just as n-nervous." His slightly quivering voice does not sound very convincing. "Ulia is waiting for y-you outside, better n-not let her wait."

Blackthorn: "I was injured?"
Aljabo: He puts on a serious, worried look. "Y-Yes, y-you were dying. Do y-you n-not remember?" As you try and recall what happens, Aljabo starts to speak again and does not even give you time to answer. "Y-You had s-some b-broken b-bones, and were losing lots of blood. F-Fortunately f-for y-you, Ulia b-brought y-you here and I was capable of healing you. Y-You might s-still f-feel a little dazed for s-some time, though it will pass." He looks at you in deep thought. "Do n-not ask me what happened, B-Blackthorn. I was n-not there to s-see what happened. Y-You had b-best s-speak to Ulia who was there. She is waiting f-for y-you."

Blackthorn: "You can heal?"
