Spells

When a spell is cast, it uses up mana. The amount of mana used is 3 times the circle, e.g. a fourth circle spell uses 12 mana.

1st Circle

I M Y Create Food Causes a fine bounty of food to appear (permanent spell)
I L Light Illuminates a darkened area (duration spell).
O J Magic Arrow Fires a magic arrow at your opponent (targeted spell).
B I S Resist Blows Has the same effect as wearing a suit of head-to-toe armor (duration spell).
S H Stealth Briefly prevents you from making any noise, making it less likely that creatures will notice you (duration spell).

2nd Circle

Q C Cause Fear May cause an opponent to lose heart and flee (instantaneous spell).
W M Detect Monster Reveals the presence of hidden or unperceived enemies (instantaneous spell).
I B M Lesser Heal Heals your minor wounds (instantaneous spell).
I J Rune of Warding Places an enchantment in an area which will report if anything disturbs it (permanent spell, until disturbed).
R D P Slow Fall Briefly allows you to float in the air like a feather (duration spell).

3rd Circle

B S L Conceal Briefly obscures you, so you might remain unseen (duration spell).
O G Lightning Hurls a bolt of arcane energy at your opponent (targeted spell).
Q L Night Vision Allows you to see without benefit of torch or candle (duration spell).
R T P Speed Slows down your enemies relative to your speed (duration spell).
S J Strengthen Door Spikes a door (permanent spell).

4th Circle

H P Levitate Briefly allows you to rise vertically into the air (duration spell).
N M Poison Poisons your opponent with toxic venom (permanent spell).
A J Remove Trap Negates the targeted snare (targeted spell).
S F Resist Fire Briefly grants a partial resistance to damage from flame (duration spell).

5th Circle

A N Cure Poison Acts as an antidote to any poison (permanent spell).
P F Fireball Hurls a mighty flaming missile at your opponent (targeted spell).
G S P Missile Protection Renders you invulnerable to missiles (duration spell).
O W Y Name Enchantment Reveals the true nature of the object on which you cast the spell (permanent spell).
E Y Open Unlocks a locked door or chest (permanent spell).

6th Circle

V R P Gate Travel Allows you to travel instantly to a moonstone (instantaneous spell).
V I M Greater Heal Brings you back to your original vigor (full Vitality) (permanent spell).
A E P Paralyze Prevents target from moving (instantaneous spell).
O P Y Telekinesis Allows you to pick up a single item and use it from a distance (duration spell).

7th Circle
