Alleged Ultima Collectible Fraud

This springtime hasn't been very rosy for the Ultima community. The news of Rustic Dragon breaking ties with the Ultima community, as well as Richard Garriott's controversial plans to enter the NFT space are now overshadowed by some new, nefarious developments.

Enrico Ricciardi, who has for years been a prominent figure in the Ultima community and the Big Box PC Game Collectors group, is now being accused of having sold around $100k in counterfeit collectibles. This news, along with the evidence collected, has made it to a number of popular gaming news sites such as Kotaku, Gamebyte and Cracked. You can also find this evidence in a couple of tweets (first, second) by Dominus, one of the victims of the alleged scam.

In other news, The CRPG Addict has visited the Tomb of Praecor Loth.

And finally, Rikkles has created a great set of Ultima 2 maps and shared them recently in a Tweet.
