The CRPG Addict: Some Musings about CRPG Narratives

In a recent post titled "Some Musings about CRPG Narratives", The CRPG Addict answers questions from a student about CRPG narratives, ethics, evolution and composition. Ultima got a couple of mentions, with Ultima IV: Quest of the Avatar cited as the first (and perhaps the only) CRPG with a complex ethics system, and Ultima Underworld lauded for having "pioneered the realistic, continuous movement, 3D dungeon crawler".
