WebDB2 AuditToday I've gone through all the sites in the WebDB2 that weren't already dead, checked whether they were still alive, and updated their "last updated" date if they were still alive and had some kind of date to indicate that.
Since the last time I checked, 23 websites have disappeared, several of which were long-standing pillars of the online Ultima community, and they are:
This makes the WebDB2's mission even more important. By keeping track of Ultima websites, most of them can be visited even after they are gone, thanks to the historical archiving work of the Wayback Machine.
To put the numbers into perspective, the WebDB2 currently tracks 219 websites. After losing those last 23 websites, now only 92 are still around, and far fewer are active at all.
Aside from updating statuses and last updated dates across the WebDB2 entries, I've also removed a duplicate entry for The Bread Gate and fixed a badly formatted title in another entry.
